Zoey's 2nd birthday party

Saturday 27 August 2011 was a very busy day for Eloise.  She had Carly's 4th birthday party in the morning, followed by Lachlan Lee's 3rd birthday party and then Zoey's 2nd birthday party at 2pm !  By the end of the day, Eloise was buzzing with sugar and despite how tired she was, it took her a while to fall asleep.

Eloise was very excited to have been invited to Carly's 4th birthday party.  Carly is her friend from childcare and together with London, they are apparently a very tight threesome at child care. 

The invitation said to come in your favourite dress up and Eloise went as a mermaid.  Sparkle the fairy came to visit and Eloise hoped that Sparkle would visit her party too.

Leala's 4th Birthday Party

Happy Birthday Leala !  Leala is Eloise's friend from playgroup and so they have literally known each other since they were babies.   Eloise had a great time playing dress ups and out on the fort with the other kids.  It is always a struggle to make an exit !

Swimming

Eloise's swimming has come on in leaps and bounds ever since our holiday in Fiji.  Not only does she have the confidence to put her head under water, she can actually put her head under water and breathe for quite a while.  She can also swim with flippers without any flotation device. The lessons are at Streamline in Eltham and we have been having lessons for about a year.  Well done Eloise !
