On the last day of Term 1, it was animal dress ups and games on the oval.... Here she is Eloise dressed as a ladybird with some of her kinder friends.
It was a beautiful sunny morning, perfect for some running relays, ball games and an Easter egg hunt. A great way to end the first term of 4 year old kinder.
An attempt at capturing in words and pictures the adventures of Eloise and Abbey.

Chateau Yerring
It was a sunny Saturday afternoon and lunch in the Yarra Valley was in order. We headed to Chateau Yering with Grandma and had lunch at Eleanors.
Before lunch we exhausted the girls energy with a game of chasey in the gardesn and they were were thankfully pretty well behaved making lunch a generally relaxed affair.

We then followed up lunch with a stroll through the grounds.
Easter Family Day at the Kinder
Easter came early for the girls this year. There was a Easter family day fund raiser at the kinder and the girls were super excited and they (well Eloise and off course Abbey would not be denied) insisted on wearing their finest party skirt complete with bunny ears.
Grandma who was down for a visit also seemed to have enjoyed herself.
Hot cross buns, an Easter egg hunt and lots of chocolate ... it suited the girls to a tee.
Abbey absolutely gorged herself on hot cross buns and chocolate eggs, managing to demolish 3 medium sized eggs before we realised that she had been going back and forth between us so that we were not aware of exactly how many eggs she had eaten. Needless to say, her afternoon nap was a difficult event that afternoon !

Abbey can jump !
We got Abbey a mini trampoline for her first birthday and it still remains as one of her favourite toys. The girl can jump ! Eloise finally mastered the art of taking off from the ground with both feet at the age of 4 whereas, Abbey has mastered it before her 2nd birthday.
Abbey also loves to sing and one of her favourites is "Baby face" .... the only problem is she loves to sing it at the top of her voice.

Welcome Baby Amber Rose !
We were so excited to finally meet Amber .... Uncle Stevie and Aunty De's baby. Eloise has been looking forward to meeting her new cousin for months now and the day finally arrived on 15 March 2012.

Aunty Jess with Amber ... no not getting clucky ! |
Amber was born by ceasarian section as she was in a breech position. And we noticed that there is a difference between a ceasarian baby and a natural birth baby ... this being the ceasarian baby comes out looking perfect with no marks and bruises whereas, both Eloise and Abbey and more so Abbey came out looking red, squished and a little squashed ! Here are photos of Eloise and Abbey just after birth ... do they look like their cousin Amber?
