Lucas' Christening

We all got dressed up in our Sunday best for baby Lucas' christening and the girls were very excited to be looking prim and proper!

The christening was at a church in St Kilda and the reception was at Quat Quatta, an old mansion near Ripponlea.  Unfortunately, the girls still are not that great at keeping quiet during the church service and Abbey could not understand why she could not talk and kick the church pew in front of her ...luckily the service only went for half an hour!

The star of the show, baby Lucas and his parents Kon and Jacqui

At the reception the kids were kept very entertained drawing and creating a mess on the fine dining tables and jumping up and down on the antique furniture and belting out notes on the grand piano.  By the end of the day the prim and proper look had been abandoned by the girls, their shoes were kicked off because it made running too hard and Abbey's little Burbery dress was covered in cake icing and textas ! Here's hoping that Napisan works its magic in removing the stains !!

Everywhere that Eloise went ....

Everywhere that Eloise went, Abbey is sure to go ....  The girls have become inseperable of late with Abbey following her sister wherever she goes.
"Where are you going ?"
"Wait for me ..."
Eloise is very protective of Abbey and often calls her "bubba" and will not let anyone else call her little sister "bubba" because only she has earnt the right to do so ! Abbey meanwhile calls her big sister "Jeh Jeh".

Quite often after her nap, Abbey will call out for "Jeh Jeh"  and Eloise will race down to see her and climb into her cot to keep her company.
