Skiing

Finally, it was a great season at the snow.  For the first time in years, there was lots and lots of snow with all lifts operating and you could even ski in and out from our lodge! We went up on the Sunday and stayed until Wednesday which meant that it was not so crowded.

It was Abbey's first time at the snow and she took to it like a duck to water.

During this trip Abbey and Zoey also really bonded as both were not yet old enough to ski and so got plenty of playtime together.
The new besties
We caught a bus up Bourke Street and the kids thought it would be hilarious to do some poses for the people on the lifts with Eloise and Dylan deciding it would be fun to do a 'snow moon' whilst Abbey and Zoey looked on in amusement.

Abbey appears amused with the mooning although Zoey looks a little disapproving!

It was Eloise's second time on skies and she did an all day lesson (could not convince her to do another lesson the next day).  However, we found that she got more out of going up and down Bourke Street with Brett.

After a hard day skiing it was time for some tobogganing .....

Abbey soon got the hang of it and insisted on going down by herself
Brett got plenty of exercise dragging Abbey up the hill after each slide down!
It was a great trip but check out how many bags we needed for two families for just three nights !
