Halloween

For the first time, we got into the spirit of Halloween.  The girls (especially Eloise) have been looking forward to this for ages and they certainly dressed to look the part ... the witch and Minnie Mouse looked absolutely gorgeous!

There was also a witch and the fairy as Abbey could not settle on her outfit!

We met up with some of Eloise's friends from school and met at the Eltham Pub for a Halloween meal before going trick a treating.

We did not have to go far as there are a couple of houses near us that really go all out with their Halloween decorations.  The girls had a ball!

Strike a pose

It looks like we have a couple of posers on our hands.  The girls like nothing more than wearing dresses and for the greater good of the community it is quite often easier and far more peaceful for them to wear the same dress!

And if there is face painting on offer, the girls will be sure to stand in line for their turn to be transformed into a butterfly, princess, rainbow or pussycat.  Their patience in such situations is astounding as these queues can be quite long and the wait could be as long as half and hour! The latest face painting was from the Edendale Farm festival.
