Vietnam- Phu Quoc Island

Phu Quoc Island is an island in the south of Vietnam.  It is relatively undeveloped and does not seem to be on the tourist radar yet.  It is also very hot there and seems hotter than the rest of the country (if that is indeed possible).   We stayed at La Veranda which seemed to be the best hotel on the island.

We spent most of the time on the beach or at the pool and ordering fresh fruits from the beach chop chop girls.

With our new friend, Marina from France

Some beachside schoolwork

We did take a day trip around the island and visited a replica of a prisoner of war camp.

Staying right on the beach we enjoyed some magnificent sunsets and loved the beachside dining.
