Plitvice Lakes National Park in central Croatia is really one of the most stunning places we have ever visited. There are about 16 turquoise lakes cascading into one another. You can walk right around the park and see the lakes and waterfalls on boardwalks and paths. It was very tempting to jump into water but no swimming is permitted!
We could not get over how blue and clear the water was !
