Trogir

Our next stop in Croatia was Trogir, a UNESCO heritage listed town near Split. Its quite a small old town as we kept coming back to the same spots after a few minutes walk!

Like the other old towns in Dubrovnik, its streets are very shiny cobblestones that are a type of marble.

Like the other old towns there is a main square where all the action seems to take place.

The girls found a covered area in the main square to be the perfect spot to do their "skating" on the slippery marble floor.

Trogir also has a small port and a bridge connecting it to Ciovolo Island

There is also a beach nearby which we needed as the weather was so warm.  Not the sandy beach the girls were hoping for but they still enjoyed lying around on the rocks!

Our home in Trogir was a little stone house 5 minutes walk away from the old town and the best thing about it was that we finally had an outdoor grill to grill our fish!
