It was 3 stories high and could easily have accommodated another 3 families! More than enough room for the four or us and so very affordable at about $100 / night!

Our Izakaya in Takayama
Our Air BnB in Takayama was a former Izakaya (Japanese bar) complete with its a whiskey bar still in tact.
It was 3 stories high and could easily have accommodated another 3 families! More than enough room for the four or us and so very affordable at about $100 / night!
It was also the first place we had in Japan where we had a decent sized kitchen so we had our first home cooked meal here in weeks ...Japanese curry off course! And the girls loved these Japanese tables where there is a heater under the table and you slide your feet under the blankets to keep them nice and toasty!
