Hakone to Kyoto

We left Hakone for Kyoto after a 2 night stay. Again taking the awesome bullet train we arrived in Kyoto where we noticed that the air was much cleaner and fresher then in Tokyo. It was amazing that such a large city was so unpolluted ...perhaps that's why they had the treaty on greenhouse gas emissions signed in Kyoto!

With a bit of luck we found our apartment which was very cozy!  Not sure how you would fit 6 people in. Location though was great and very close to the train station and eateries close-by. 

After unpacking we went for a wonder around our neighbourhood in search of food and found ourselves in front a very inviting restaurant and the food was pretty good too.
