Kyoto - Nishiki Market and Gion

It was a slightly wet day in Kyoto today which meant it was perfect for the undercover Nishiki market that was literally only a few blocks from our AirBnB. The market is truly a foodies paradise.   

 

 

 

 
 
 

 

 Then it was on to Gion, the famous geisha district in Kyoto. However, spotting a geisha is like trying to spot one of the big 5 in the African wilderness.

 
 
 

 

 

 
 
 
 
 
 After all that walking a large bowl of ramen was just what we needed.

 
 
 
 And on the way home, Eloise spotted H&M!
