After a big day at Disneyland we had a big sleep and then wandered down to Luxembourg Gardens. It is another garden created for Queen Medici for her new Luxembourg Palace. The park is huge and has got fantastic lawns which except for a tiny sliver you are not allowed to sit or walk on. Its also got beautiful tree lined promenades, gorgeous flowerbeds and sailboats to sail in its circular basin.

The boat was early bigger than Abbey! |
It was a beautiful spring day, perfect for a picnic in the park, Parisian style which means on seats and not the grass!
The girls found the tiny sliver of grass that you could walk and sit on and took advantage of it!

Getting to stand on the grass was a novelty! |
The Parisians sure know how to relax. As soon as the sun is out the locals are out in force in the parks just reading, sunbaking or picnicking.
Spring has sprung in Paris!
After the park, it was a glorious spring day to walk around the streets of Paris looking for the metro station to get home!
