Spello to Collepino

Its our last day in Spello (sob, sob) and it was a glorious spring day with bright blue skies ...perfect to attempt the Spello to Collepino walk.  The walk is on the old Roman aqueduct and weaves through olive groves and apparently has spectacular views.    And it did not disappoint!

The girls spent a lot of the walking picking flowers and were very excited with the red poppies that were only just popping out.

We did not make it all the way to Collepino, in fact I think we only made it halfway which is probably 3km there and back. So not a bad effort for the kids on what was a fairly warm spring day.

What is wrong with this picture!!
